About Our Decoupage Lamps

Our decoupage lamps are crafted by Carson & Co., a small cottage industry company specializing in this unique art form. The lamps they create are the result of a complex process that takes weeks to complete, beginning with hand-cutting each object that makes up the decoration seen on the lamp bases from their own 16th to 18th century botanical prints. Once the cutting process is complete, each piece is then glued to a crystal vase in the proper arrangement, and that then becomes the lamp's base. The base is then fully cleaned out, and multiple layers of paint are applied to its interior. Finally, it is matched with the perfect shade, forming a lamp that is then ready to ship out and be enjoyed as a priceless piece of art for generations to come.
