Hand-blown art glass shade imported from Azerbaijan. Metal base. Approximately 33" high in total. Shade is approximately 11" high and 4" in diameter. Uses one 14-watt fluorescent bulb. UL-listed.

NOTE: All colors are approximate. Due to the handcrafted nature of this piece and natural variations in the glass, its actual appearance may differ slightly from the picture. As such, each lamp is unique and should be considered a one-of-a-kind work of art.

About Our Art Glass Lamps

All of our art glass lamps are designed by artist Ely Helalian and crafted in her native Azerbaijan, a former Soviet republic that is now an independent country located on the Caspian Sea, east of Armenia and north of Iran. The country is marked by a rich cultural history that goes back thousands of years, and part of that history is evident in the glasswork that make up these lamps. The ancient glass blowing techniques used to create these pieces have been passed down from generation to generation, including a three layer process that makes each color as clear and bright as possible. As a result, every color that makes up a particular piece is a distinct layer of glass, as no paint is ever used. Not only do the craftsmen implementing each design possess a refined skill that is evident in each piece, but they also impart each one with an unmistakable and unique expression of themselves, as each lamp is undeniably unique and should be considered a one-of-a-kind work of art.
